In her master class Francesca will explore the uses of autobiography in creating fiction and poetry.
Born in Malaysia, based in London, Francesca Beard is a writer and poet who recently toured her first one-woman show, ‘Chinese Whispers’, supported by The Arts Council and Battersea Arts Centre.
She has represented contemporary British Literature all over the world. Francesca has been working as a writer in education since 1999. She runs frequent one day workshops for all ages round Britain, at the same time as working on longer term projects with theatres and organisations. With the British Council Live Literature Department, she has run poetry workshops and masterclasses in Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic and Russia.
