Here be tygers, here be dragons
Here be creatures of the night
With fiery eyes and painted faces
Grinning through their pearly whites
Curling round your ankles
Purring out their fairy tales and better than the real thing...
Lies
Big up your Performance!
Ok, so you’ve already read out your poetry… but how can you make it even more memorable? This workshop uses practical techniques to help you make your mark on stage!
Please bring along a few examples of your work that you wish to perform. These may be pieces you have never performed, and want to try. Or they may be pieces you have performed already and want to explore different ways of performing. You will get a chance to practice one of the pieces you bring along, or perhaps two, time permitting. There will be time during the session to play with performing your work, and to receive constructive and positive feedback from myself, as well as others in the group.
